We're a volunteer-run resource hub for the Minneapolis–St. Paul metro, built so no organizer has to start from scratch.
Resist Twin Cities started in 2025 as a shared spreadsheet passed between a handful of Minneapolis and St. Paul organizers who kept re-explaining the same know-your-rights basics and re-introducing groups that had no idea the other existed.
What began as a group chat pinned message grew into a standing, searchable directory — reviewed by the same organizers who use it, not by an algorithm. We're not a nonprofit with a board and a budget. We're neighbors who got tired of watching good work happen in isolation.
Today, Resist Twin Cities is maintained by volunteer coordinators across Hennepin, Ramsey, and five surrounding counties, with new resources added every week as the landscape shifts.
Democracy isn't defended in Washington. It's defended in living rooms, union halls, and church basements across Minneapolis and St. Paul.
Resist Twin Cities exists to make sure no organizer starts from zero — and no neighbor faces oligarchy alone.

Every resource is sourced and dated. If we can't verify who runs it, it doesn't go on the list.
Solidarity
We connect organizations instead of competing with them. A stronger neighbor group makes the whole network stronger.
