How to turn off auto-renew on Amazon

To turn off auto-renew for Amazon Prime, you must end your membership through your account settings, which prevents future charges while allowing you to keep benefits until the current period expires. 

Desktop/Web Browser:

• Hover over Account & Lists and select Prime Membership. 
• Click Manage Membership and select End Membership. 
• Choose Continue to Cancel and follow prompts to confirm. 

Mobile App (iOS/Android):

• Open the Amazon app and tap the menu icon (three lines). 
• Select Your Account, then tap Manage Prime Membership. 
• Tap Manage Membership from the dropdown, then select End Membership. 
• Confirm your choice to stop auto-renewal.

Note that Amazon does not always offer a standalone “Turn off auto-renew” toggle for Prime; instead, ending the membership is the method used to disable automatic renewal.  You can verify the change by checking that your renewal date is no longer active in your membership settings.
