Let Iran Live: Fundraiser for Iran

Let Iran Live’s first fundraiser event in the Twin Cities will take place on August 20th! In two Bay Area fundraisers and through t-shirt and tote bag sales, we raised $34,000. We have spent around $1000 of that amount to produce and ship t-shirts and totes, and have sent $26,000 so far to mutual aid groups and organizations serving marginalized families all over Iran. We are sending the remaining $7,000 in chunks to different mutual aid groups in the south of Iran. But the need is much greater than what we have raised. So we are continuing our fundraising efforts because we believe that only we keep each other safe! This is not charity. It’s our responsibility, as those whose tax dollars are spent on bombing our people, to do what we can to slightly relieve the suffering of those living in a war imposed on them by the US-Israeli months.
